My dad, Olie Brooks, passed away on July 3rd 1960 at the age of 55 in Rock Springs,Wyo.
We were living in Kansas City, Mo. at the time. Greg was just 6 weeks old,My husband drove the 24 hrs. straight through.
He slept for 24 hrs. when we got there.
I met family I had never seen before.
I haven't seen them since.
My mom, Laura McAdams Brooks lives in Las Vegas
where she has resided for at least 45 years.
She is ill,and lives with my 2 older sisters.
They take very good care of her.
I have only seen her once in the past 20 years.
My three sisters are Mary Lee,
and Francis Joe who live in Vegas
and Dawn Joy who lives in Mesa, Ariz.
Lee has 2 boys,
Fran has 1 girl and
Dawn has 2 girls and one boy.
I really miss them all a LOT.
