Surveying the damage
The phone rings,it is my sister from Ariz.
She screams you just had an earthquake! Are you ok?
Well they tell you not to use the phone but who cares.
I am gonna talk and so we do. �
As I look around I notice my dog is limping and I see the fish tank on the floor.
I can't scoop the 4 little ones up.
I look across the room and I see a 20 gallon fish tank that is half full.
But the big fish seem ok for now.
There is food every where.
I notice the light is out in the 'frig,I click on the light.
Guess what! No electricity! Duh!
I turn on the faucet at the sink,No water.
Then my son walks in,his left arm is wide open.
He'd been tryng to get out of the work building.
He puts his arm up so the door won't slam on him.
His arm goes thru the plate glass door.
Fortunately we live next door to an emergency clinic.
It is now about 2:00p.m.
�It is dark before we get his arm sewed up.
They do it via a flashlight and headlights from a car.
We walk home and immediately see that we can sleep in our beds. Do you believe in miracles? I sure do.
We have had 2 today.
